Indonesia once again achieved an international sports milestone through the Indonesian Cloud Jetski Racing Team. At the IJSBA World Finals 2021, Indonesian athlete Aqsa Sutan Aswar successfully secured Runner-Up World Champion in the Pro AM Runabout Endurance Open category.
The competition took place in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, United States, from October 2–10, 2021. This achievement highlights the strong performance of Indonesian athletes in the global jet ski championship. Moreover, it shows that Indonesia continues to compete with the best racers in the world.
Indonesian Cloud Jetski Racing Team Performance
In the same category, the Indonesian Cloud Jetski Racing Team sent two other talented athletes: Aero Sutan Aswar and Wisnu Dwihutomo.
Both athletes performed strongly in the competition. Aero finished 4th in the world, while Wisnu secured 7th place. As a result, Indonesia managed to outperform several strong jet ski nations.
These countries included the United States, France, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. Therefore, the result further strengthened Indonesia’s reputation in the international jet ski racing scene.
Strong Results Across Multiple Categories
In addition to the Pro AM Runabout Endurance Open category, the Aswar brothers also competed in another race class.
Both Aqsa Sutan Aswar and Aero Sutan Aswar achieved impressive rankings in the Pro AM Runabout Stock category. Aqsa finished in 5th place, while Aero secured 6th place.
These results were also significant because they placed Indonesian athletes ahead of several competitors from the United States, the host nation, as well as racers from the Cayman Islands and Canada.
