Brawijaya University Cloud Computing Visit at Indonesian Cloud

A Cloud Computing Company Visit helps students gain real industry experience. Through this visit, students can connect theory with real practice. On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, Indonesian Cloud welcomed students and lecturers from the Informatics Student Association, Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya.
The group traveled by bus from Malang to Jakarta. During the trip, they visited several technology companies. Therefore, Indonesian Cloud felt honored to become one of the official study visit destinations.
Around 30 students joined this Cloud Computing Company Visit. Lecturers from the Computer Science program accompanied them throughout the agenda.

Visit Agenda at Indonesian Cloud
The Cloud Computing Company Visit began with an opening session. Yudhi Haryadhi, Director Representative of Indonesian Cloud, delivered the welcome speech.
During this session, students learned about Indonesian Cloud. They explored the company’s vision, services, and role as a cloud service provider in Indonesia. As a result, students gained a clearer view of the local cloud industry.

Human Capital Session: Understanding Yourself
Next, the Human Capital team led an interactive session. Students took a simple DISC personality test.
This activity helped students understand their strengths and work styles. Moreover, they received practical tips to attract recruiters in the future.
Laili Irawati, Head of the Human Capital Division at Indonesian Cloud, delivered this session. Her experience added strong value to the discussion.

Network Operation Center (NOC) Tour
After that, students visited the Network Operation Center (NOC). This room acts as the “engine room” of Indonesian Cloud.
Here, students saw how the team monitors and manages customer systems in real time. Refina, Helpdesk Officer at Indonesian Cloud, explained each process clearly. As a result, students gained direct insight into daily cloud operations.

Cloud Computing Session by Cloud Engineer
In the final session, students joined a technical discussion about cloud services. Heri, a Cloud Engineer Expert from the Operation Division, led the session.
He explained how cloud infrastructure works. He also showed how cloud services support modern businesses. Therefore, students gained both technical knowledge and real-world insight.

Closing and Appreciation
At the end of the Cloud Computing Company Visit, students and lecturers from Universitas Brawijaya took a group photo. They also presented a souvenir to Indonesian Cloud as a token of appreciation.
