Penandatanganan Perjanjian Kerjasama

Technology Education Collaboration at STEI ITB

Bandung, October 17, 2017

Technology education collaboration is essential for building a strong digital future in Indonesia. On October 17, 2017, STEI ITB and PT IndonesianCloud strengthened technology education collaboration through an official memorandum of understanding.

Through this agreement, both parties focused on education, research, and innovation. Therefore, IndonesianCloud delivered a CSR grant to renovate a research room at STEI ITB.

Technology Education Collaboration Through CSR Support

Technology education collaboration becomes more effective when industry supports academia. For this reason, IndonesianCloud funded the renovation of a research facility at STEI ITB.

Previously, the room needed major improvement. It lacked comfort and safety. As a result, student activities were limited.

After the renovation, the room now functions properly. Students can study, research, and collaborate more effectively.

Supporting Students With a Better Research Space

A better space helps students focus. Therefore, IndonesianCloud supports education through real action.

Instead of short-term aid, the company chose a sustainable approach. By improving facilities, students gain long-term benefits. Consequently, they can innovate without barriers.

This effort strengthens technology education collaboration between industry and universities.

Multi-Purpose Research Facility at STEI ITB

The renovated room is located on the 4th floor of the Ahmad Bakrie Building (Labtek VIII), STEI ITB. At first, the room supports student research activities.

However, its role will expand. In the future, the facility will support education and telematics research programs. These programs involve STEI ITB and TRGI Group.

As a result, the space serves both academic and industry needs.

Building Long-Term Technology Education Collaboration

The handover ceremony involved Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring, M.Eng, Dean of STEI ITB, and Mr. Bobby Rasyidin, President Director of PT TRG Investama Group.

During the event, Mr. Bobby explained that this CSR initiative marks the first phase of cooperation with ITB. Therefore, this program builds a strong foundation for long-term technology education collaboration.

We hope this collaboration continues and delivers real value for students and society.
