Block Storage

Block Storage is a block-level data storage service that offers low latency, persistence, and high reliability. Block Storage enables automatic replication within the same zone to prevent data loss caused by hardware failures and to ensure the stability and continuity of your workloads. You can manage Block Storage in the same way you manage disks. For example, you can partition a block storage device attached to an ECS instance and create a file system on that device. You can also use Block Storage devices to achieve data persistence.

What Are the Features of Indonesian Cloud’s Block Storage?

Online Scaling

The Online Scaling feature allows you to shrink disks without any service disruption. You are not required to detach the disk during the scaling process.

Data Protection

The Data Protection feature creates snapshots of disks to support data protection, data recovery, image customization, and application disaster recovery.

Data Encryption

The Data Encryption feature supports data encryption and eliminates the need for users to build or maintain their own individual key management systems.

I/O Isolation

The I/O feature enables storage input/output (I/O) isolation for enterprise-level instances. The connection between each ECS instance and all associated disks is allocated dedicated bandwidth. This feature eliminates storage I/O contention among different ECS instances and ensures stable and consistent storage I/O performance.

Online Scaling

Fitur Online Scalling dapat memperkecil disk tanpa gangguan layanan. Anda tidak melepaskan disk selama proses penskalaan.

Data Protection
